WORK STUDY JOBS
The Athletic Department hires work-study students to assist in many areas of the department.
ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT SALES & MARKETING TEAM Typical Hours: Weekdays Varies upon title MON-FRI
SPORTS INFORMATION
Assist the sports information director with keeping stats during games, writing stories from recent games, interviewing coaches and athletes, updating the athletic website.
Typical Hours: Weekday hours and weeknight and weekend games
Sports Information Director
Sports Recruiters
Assist the Athletic Department and coaches with the task of recruiting new student-athletes to the college to play sports from local high schools or students already in a community college without sports.
EQUIPMENT AND LAUNDRY
Assist equipment manager with storage, distribution, and movement of equipment for various athletic teams and daily washing and drying of team laundry.
Typical Hours: Weekday hours, weeknights and weekends following practices and games
Supervisor: Equipment and Laundry Manager
ATHLETIC TRAINING
Assist athletic trainers with providing treatments for athletes before and after practices and games and assist in set-up and break-down of equipment.
Typical Hours: Weekdays 6:00-8:30, weeknight and weekend games
Supervisor: Head Athletic Trainer
STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
Assist strength and conditioning staff with greeting all members, performing general custodial work, and serving as point of contact for all inquiries.
Typical Hours: Weekdays and weekend hours
Supervisor: Director of Athletic Performance
